Screening Services
Now there is a way for your employees and their dependents to help prevent or slow the onset of chronic diseases. Alere's Screening Services Program offers secure and confidential preventive screenings that can be taken by employees and their dependents in the comfort of their home or on site at a client location. The screening services are designed to help ensure a healthier client population while minimizing the potentially higher costs of care for untreated illnesses and lost productivity.
Quick, easy-to-administer biometric tests screen for risk factors associated with diabetes, cardiovascular heart disease, hypertension and obesity. The screenings enable you to reach all members of your population regardless of location, and facilitate access to Alere's wellness and disease management programs.
Enhanced Participant Engagement
Preventive screenings are followed by face-to-face or telephonic outreach by Alere's clinicians. In these interactions, they explain the consequences of poor test results and why it is important to avoid unhealthy behaviors. This can raise awareness among your employees and inspire interest in participating in your health programs.
Integration with Health and Productivity Programs
Participants access the secure, convenient, Web-based Health Portal 24/7 to order test kits, register for online events, view screening results from the at-home test and access a set of relevant behavior modification programs (Healthy Living Programs). And as applicable, results from the screening tests can automatically be entered into the participant's Health and Productivity Assessment and Personal Health Record, which also facilitates participant engagement.
Turnkey Communications Program
To encourage participation and engagement, Alere offers a turnkey communications plan for each screening program. The purpose is to promote the program, engage the interest of employees and their dependents, provide simple and easy access to the testing process and deliver easy-to-read lab test results.
