Health Improvement Nursing Opportunities

  • Complex Care Managers - Registered nurses with a minimum of three years of experience provide home health, hospice or case management services. Complex Care Managers work remotely from a home-based office and provide a combination of in-home visits and telephonic follow-up for patients with complex illnesses.
  • Chronic Care Managers - Registered nurses with a minimum of three years of experience provide home health, hospice or case management services. Chronic Care Managers work remotely from a home-based office and provide telephonic guidance and support for patients with chronic conditions.
  • Oncology Care Managers - Experienced registered nurses with a background in oncology and or hospice is preferred. They work directly with oncology patients and health providers to provide improved quality of care and efficient delivery of care through ongoing telephonic contact and management. Work-from-home opportunities are available.
  • Disease Management Nurses and Health Coaches – Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and health coaches with a minimum of three years of experience provide health management services within a specific disease category for the patient population assigned. These nurses may work from a local call center with flexible shifts and hours or work from a home-based office after three months of training.

Women's & Children's Health Nursing Opportunities

  • Perinatal Clinicians - Experienced obstetrical registered nurses provide telephonic assessments and clinical interventions in our daytime call center to a case load of high-risk obstetrical patients. Patients may be receiving treatment for preterm labor, hypertension, or nausea and vomiting, among others. Prefer two-plus years of labor and delivery, perinatal, or obstetrical experience with strong interpersonal, telephone, and organizational skills.
  • Home Care
    • Nurse (Patient Educator) PRN Opportunities - Experienced obstetrical registered nurses provide education, equipment instruction, nursing care and care coordination for high-risk obstetrical patients in their homes. Prefer two-plus years of labor and delivery, perinatal or obstetrical nursing experience with strong assessment and interpersonal skills. Locations vary based on the needs.
    • Director - The Director is responsible for supervising the implementation and utilization of obstetrical home care services to provide quality care and customer satisfaction. Management of field nurses, compliance with company, state and JCAHO regulations and overseeing operational efficiencies make this a rewarding job for a dedicated leader in obstetrical care. Prefer two-plus years of high-risk obstetrical experience.
  • Certified Diabetes Educators - Experienced certified diabetes educators, registered nurses or registered dietitians provide diabetes education in nutrition, insulin self-management and insulin pump therapy for high-risk obstetrical patients in their homes or telephonically depending on the location. Responsibilities include managing a team of patients, reporting to case managers and physicians, patient satisfaction and quality management of our programs. Prefer two-plus years of diabetes education experience with strong assessment and interpersonal skills. Obstetrical experience a plus. Will consider an individual that will be sitting for the test.
  • Maternalink Case Managers, RN & LPN – Registered nurses and licensed practical nurses with a minimum of two-plus years of high-risk obstetrical experience and case management experience is preferred. Through personal, technological and highly collaborative programs, Alere nurses provide a wide range of services to expectant women with the primary goal of healthy infants and healthy mothers as our desired outcomes. Using our individualized risk assessment interviews, 24/7 Baby Line and case management services, our obstetrical nurses provide telephonic high-risk obstetrical case management services in the least restrictive and most cost-effective setting.
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurses - Experienced registered nurses have a minimum of three years of clinical NICU, case management or related experience. Responsible for NICU cases with an emphasis on quality of life and cost-effectiveness, these nurses follow cases throughout the continuum of care, and in all settings, including hospital and/or home visits until all goals for the patient have been addressed and the baby is discharged from the Alere program.
